Called the perfect musical comedy, Guys and Dolls Jr. is also a perfect introduction to the Broadway musical. Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, this Broadway classic introduces us to colorful characters who have become legends in the canon: "Sarah Brown," the up right but uptight "mission doll," out to reform the evildoers of Times Square; "Sky Masterson," the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; "Adelaide," the nightclub performer whose chronic cold is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and "Nathan Detroit," her devoted fiancé, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game.

Guys and Dolls Jr. will be directed by the artistic team from Anchorage's hottest musical theatre company: Theatre Artists United: music direction by Steven Alvarez, choreography by Kristen Vierthaler and stage direction by Christian Heppinstall. TAU recently produced the sold-out Broadway musicals HAIR and The Rocky Horror Show.
